Ace Performance brought
3 motorcycles with them to
the Texas mile a
1507cc stroker and a pair of
stage 2 ZX12's.
Sal ran the stroker
in 2 street bike shootout classes
one being all motor
class and the other a nitrous class
Sal won both classes
the all motor class and the nitrous class with NO nitrous and also set the
FASTEST ALL MOTOR
RECORD AT TEXAS !
Then ran the pair of ZX12's
to a new track record for the fastest Zx12's to ever run at Texas.
The owners of the
ZX12's Mike and Dale ran very well
Mike ran a 201.1
mph and made the Texas 200 mph club!
Dale had his bike
at 190 mph but has been 194+ mph
even at his 285 lb
weight suited up in leathers.

shows up to Maxton a few more time’s and repeats with a stellar performance, setting 29 Records total ranging from the
650 750 1000 1350 1650 2000 3000 3001 3001+cc classes Naturally Aspirated and fuel classes
24 of
the 29 records are speeds ranging from 203 – 236.96 MPH
Turbo charged Hayabusa 1350cc Blown class with a 230mph, 233mph, and 236.9mph record’s !!!
For those who don’t know, 9/10ths racing is head-to-head timed passes, similar to traditional ¼ mile drag racing, but
with times measured over a 9/10 of a mile. Sal estimates he has done about 5,500 passes on his various bikes over the
11 years he’s been doing that kind of racing. He brought two bikes with him to Maxton, one his own and one belonging
